here's the skinny

i got a letter from spencer today, he got a mad fever.

he now weighs 128lbs at 6 foot flat. scary.

he told me that he's trying really hard to gain weight

but with all the worms it's pretty impossible.

so, now where can i find a sweet worm?

what we do on tuesday mornings

can i just tell you how much i love my job??

i get to work just 3 days a week to get all my

hours, hence i get tuesday & thursday and

sometimes friday or saturday off. its the best.

therefore this is me and maddie at 1030 am on

a tuedsay "morning" hanging out in our pjs.

maybe baby mads loves me so much because

we both wear blue pjs? whatever it is, its true love.

another remedy

there is the sweetest man who comes into my bank.

his last name is something "vich" so naturally as my

nosey rosey self I ask him where are you from.

Serbia

now we are the best of friends, because we both are

serbs, right? it's amazing how people from different

countries who meet in america seem to become

like family. everytime he comes into the bank, he

comes to my window and in his sweet broken english

talks to me about everything. he always ends our

conversations with "oh, & please tell your mother hi"

he's never met my mom.

and that makes me so happy.

remedy for a little sadness

taking the birthday girl - pudgey, ethan, and maters

on a ride around the parking lot for liz so she could

get the ingredients for what paige told me was a

"dolly cake"she also told me that liz was such a

"good mom" i agreed and ethan did too, BUT he said

she somtimes puts him in time out. i told ethan

that's exactly what makes his mom such a good mom,

if she didn't put him in timeout she wouldn't even

care about him and that would make her a bad mom.

ethan sighed and said "sometimes i just wish she was

a bad MOM!" pure genius. liz told me when she got in the

car that when ethan was in time out today he took a picture

of him and her and scratched out her face. i think i remember

looking at liz's class picture from 3rd grade and brandon bowen's

face was scratched out. yep, a remedy. now i'm snacking on

some mambas, next i'll destroy the rolos then i'll pound my 32oz

dr. pepper. thanks sugar for pulling through, yet once again.

snow fall

when it snowed the other night, yeah, that was for me.

sorry all of you who thought or hoped winter was over.

i just needed one more snow fall to remember spencer.

alli, my mom & i laughed until we were sick

e. bruzaferro also wrote me a little note:

"who is the man sending you flowers?

i'm going to send him a letter full of poison!"

(which by the way was in portuguese & i had to translate which made me laugh again until i was sick.)

getting letters makes me so happy it's sickening.

this is how happy i was last week.

all week.

i got 3 letters from the land of brasil.

one even had pictures in it.

i went down to provo with nick & ate some j dawgs. delic.

i watched the movie monsters vs. aliens and laughed till i cried.

i rode on the back of my dad's four wheeler at the B & laughed till i cried.

i stayed up until 630 am listening to ghost stories.

i think, well *hope* i got the promotion at my job.

i ate some delic food at nick's homecoming.

i went to the singles ward & felt right at home.

i went to a desert social and ate some magnificent treats.

i wasted everyone at the train game.

i got to enjoy nick's indonesian accent all last night.

i did my own laundry and folded it too.

this week was a week full of love.

and this is a face that feels a lot of love.
